Anchorage Zine Fair

The ANC Zine Fair is an artist-led gathering of independent zine-makers, publishers, print-makers, and activists in Anchorage, Alaska. Organized through a mutual love for zines, books, and other forms of printed media, the ANC Zine Fair strives to celebrate and strengthen self-published culture in an inclusive, community-focused exhibition and marketplace.

The 2025 ANC Zine Fair will take place on Saturday, November 8th and will be part of the monthly Spenard Second Saturday art walk.

Downtown Anchorage’s November First Friday will take place on November 7th, the evening before the fair, and we are hoping that some First Friday openings will tie into the fair and the theme of local self publishing. More details to come!

Wednesdays 10/22, 10/29, 11/5 5-8pm - Open Hours at SEED Lab

Come work on your zine during open hours the next three Wednesday evenings from 5-8pm. The SEED Lab building is located at 111 W, 6th Avenue. DM @anczines on Instagram or text Julia at 917-838-2664 to RSVP and for building access information.

Friday 11/7 5-8pm - ANC Zine Fair at the IGCA Annex

This year, the ANC Zine Fair is hosting a pre-fair showcase in the IGCA Annex on Friday, November 7, from 5–8 PM. Think of it as a little prequel to get you in the mood: we have this year’s fair poster, designed by Shoko Takahashi, on display, along with a selection of local zines from past fairs set up like a browsing room. Come flip through and hang out!

We are always looking for collaborators and volunteers, so this pre-fair showcase is a great opportunity to get in touch and get involved.
