IN-PERSON EVENT
Do you have a project you’ve been dreaming up but are lacking the right space or tool? Come work on your project in community at Seed Lab. Whether you’re upcycling some furniture or simply looking for some experienced help with your project, this open-session workshop has the garage space, the tools and the community you might need to get going.
This session is family-friendly! Join Bookmobile artists to make small birdhouses out of salvaged materials. Watch a live demonstration from Tommy O’Malley on making suet cakes and pine cone bird feeders for keeping the birds fed through winter.
Drop in to learn or practice tool skills on salvaged scraps, or bring all the materials you need and work independently. Work time from 6 - 8 p.m; Cleanup from 8 - 8:30 p.m. All participants must sign a tool waiver from Tool Library @ Seed Lab. Free. Registration recommended but not required.
